The Emerging Leader
Build confidence, communication and practical leadership habits before formal authority.
Practical development for people moving from doing the work, to leading people, supervising sites and managing whole projects.
Three connected courses designed around the leadership journey in construction.

Build confidence, communication and practical leadership habits before formal authority.

Lead people, organise the work and control day-to-day site delivery safely and consistently.

Develop a whole-project view across people, scope, program, commercial, risk and delivery.
We’ve spent years working in construction, leading crews and running projects.
Along the way, we’ve made mistakes, learnt some lessons the hard way and worked with some great leaders who showed us better ways of doing things.
Looking back, there are plenty of things we wish someone had taught us when we first stepped into leadership. That’s why we built Field Leadership Group.
We want to take what we’ve learnt in the field and pass it on to the next generation of supervisors — so they can build confidence, avoid some of the mistakes we made and become better leaders sooner.
Because being a good tradesperson doesn’t automatically teach you how to lead people.
The title might make you a supervisor. Learning how to lead makes you a good one.
Communication, developing people and modelling company values connect the pathway. Each course applies them at a different level of responsibility.
